Customers phone in, or email an order, and we supply or have goods ready for collection.
Our prices are competitive and our lead time is one of the best in the region. Items in stock are usually delivered to client or collected within 24 hours from order date.
Walk in customers are assisted immediately.
Special items or non-stock items
Special items with specific requirements or items that we don’t usually stock have a lead time of at most 7 days from order date.
Supply chain management
Most of our clients prefer us to handle their supply chain processes.
The ability to tailor-make our customer’s orders to suit the specific needs of a particular project is what sets us apart from your usual building supply store.
Every customer has different needs and a different requirement when it comes to procuring the materials needed for their projects. Customers require goods to be delivered on site only once the time has come to utilise those specific items.
Assume that your company is awarded a contract to build 10 houses. What we will do is work out a schedule with you of when you will need what items, and we will deliver those items for you when you need it.
An example as below:
1 January- Construction begins- We deliver foundation materials.
1 February- Foundations completed- We deliver items to continue to roof level i.e. window and door frames, certain plumbing and electrical items, etc.
1 March- Walls completed- We deliver roofing materials.
1 April- Roof completed- We deliver interior finishing materials i.e. flooring, plumbing, electrical items.
The advantages of this system of purchasing are:
- Budgeting reasons- Knowing how much each stage of the contract will cost you, upfront, will assist you to plan better.
- Less theft of materials on site- We deliver what you need, when you need it.
- Cash flow- Over the period of the project, your cash flow is liquid. If you get paid in stages throughout the duration of the project, you will be able to pay us in stages as your project progresses.
- Correct quantities- Assuming you only need 1 kg of nails for a specific stage in the construction process, we will only deliver that specific nails in that specific quantity at that time.
- Best pricing- We won’t surcharge you for buying a smaller quantity needed for a specific stage.
- On-time deliveries- We go the extra mile for you, and treat your project as our own. If you need a delivery over the weekend or on a public holiday, we will make it happen.
